The man needs someone to show his love to but the woman needs someone to give her love to. The man is not capable of giving love because he does not have it, but is it, so can only show it. the only way man give love is by giving up his life or himself ( that is why Christ has to give up himself to give his love to us and men in other to love their wife must do it like Christ (Eph. 5:25)).
The woman is not love like the man but is filled with love beyond measure making her capable of giving it.
The sacrifice that the man will make for his wife is greater than that which he will make for his child. The sacrifice the woman will make for her child is far greater than that which she will make for her husband. If you ask the man to choose between saving his wife or his child in a situation where both can't be saved he will go for his wife. If you ask the woman to choose between saving her husband or child in similar situation, she will go for the child.
To the man the woman is his bone and flesh, what ever happens to her reaches his marrow and leaves a scare on him but to the woman her child is her blood and seeing that life is in the blood, her child is her life.
Man can endure physical pressure due to his structure but the woman can endure mental pressure due to her nature. Man can endure strain but women can endure stress.
